OBITUARY   In Memory of Velma R. West November 8, 1941 - April 28, 2012 Obituary Velma R. West, 70, passed away April 28, 2012 in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Bill West of Carrollton, Texas. Velma retired from Carrollton Farmers Branch Independent School District after 29 faithful years. During the time she served with Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD, she was honored with the dedication of the Velma West Reading library at Good Elementary in Carrollton, Texas. Loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bill West; daughter, Nancy Crawford and husband Robert of Lewisville, Texas; daughter, Rhonda Gonzales of Carrollton, Texas; son, Clifton West and wife Teresa of Denton, Texas, and son, Michael West and wife Jessica of Carrollton, Texas. 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of Relatives and Friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lena McCloud, grandson, Parker Jackson Gonzales, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11 am in the Chapel of Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. There will be a visitation on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 7pm to 9pm also at Rhoton Funeral Home.
