OBITUARY   Lue Wheeler, resident of Allen and formerly of Chatfield, passed away on Friday June 20, 2008 in McKinney at the age of 69 years. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008 in the Chapel at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Chatfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Green, Gary Haynes, Chris Haynes, Kenneth Sands, and Gary Talley. She was born on December 27, 1938 in Ada, Oklahoma to Hoyt Stephenson and Lois McSpadden Stephenson. She was employeed with the City of Farmers Branch for over 20 years as a bookkeeper, and after retirement worked at Collin Street Bakery and Cason's Florist during the holiday seasons. She was a member of the Chatfield United Methoist Church and loved to spoil her family at any opertunity she had. She was preceded in death by her husband Brooks Wheeler, twin sister Sue Green, and her parents. Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her son, Greg Wheeler and wife Karen of Allen; grandchildren, Karli Wheeler and Cody Wheeler; and sister, Geraldine Owen of Corsicana.
