Fred White was a Sophomore in the Class of 1958 but does not appear in the 1959 or 1960 Class Yearbooks.

 
OBITUARY

Fred A. White Jr.

Funeral services for Fred A. White Jr., 20, were to be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Carrollton, where his father, Dr. Fred A. White, is pastor.

Rev. Henry H. Kinkeade and Rev. J. H. Wright were to officiate, with burial in Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton.

Mr. White died at his home in Carrollton, Saturday after a long illness.

A native of Magnolia, Ark., he had resided in Carrollton for seven years. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School and the Freddie White Sportsmanship Award was presented annually to a deserving student in his honor. He was a strong sports fan and was an avid supporter of the Baylor Bears and Carrollton Lions football teams.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Bill White, Carrollton; a sister, Mary Helen White, Carrollton; grandmothers, Mrs. Ruby Logan, Carrollton; and Mrs. John White, Houston.

Pallbearers were to be Ronnie Owens, Stanley White, Charles Turner, Clint Mitchell, Mike Young and Kent Adair.

Memorials may be given to the Fred A White Jr. Memorial Library, First Baptist Church Carrollton.
