Jesse W. Whittington, 2564 Avenel, Farmers Branch. Survived by sons, C. L. Whittington, Farmers Branch; Charles Whittington, Lewisville; Walter Ed Whittington, U. S. Army; Frank Whittington, Greenville; Roy Whittington of Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Jack Wagoner, Garland; Mrs. Ruth Hammond, Clovis, N. M.; 17 grandchildren; brother, C. L. Whittington, Surman Whittington, Cotton Whittington, all of Dallas; Morris Whittington, Fort Worth, Lewis Whittington, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Aroadia Jones, Mrs. Lee Green, both of Dallas; Mrs. Naomi Storey, Ennis; Mrs. Bruce Sifford, Packerville, Okla. Services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Rhoton-Weiland-Merritt Chapel with Rev. Joe Rosenquest officiating. Interment was in Hilltop Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hendy, N. L. and Orville Gentry, WIllie and Billy Poe Fletcher and Preston L. Patrick.
