In his 20s, he attended North Texas State College where he received his Bachelor's degree. He served 6 years in the Marine Corps reserves. Later in life, he earned a Masters degree in Human Resources from Amber University. He retired after 18 years as the Human Resource Director at DeVry University. Glyn and Doris lived and raised a family in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area for 39 years before moving to China Spring to retire in 2002. Glyn enjoyed horsemanship and time outdoors. His greatest joy was his family.
Glyn leaves behind his beloved wife; his 3 children, D'Anne Williams of Austin, Sondra McCluskey of The Colony, and Angela Johnson and her husband, Monty Johnson of Round Rock; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grand-children; his brother, Eddie Williams; and countless other loving relatives and friends.
Glyn's family would like to thank Providence Hospice, McClinton Cancer Center, and all others who helped with his care and kept him comfortable during his illness.
