Seek Veteran's Grave

An effort to locate the grave of a Dallas Civil War Veteran in Keenan Cemetery at Farmers Branch was being made this week so his grave might be marked properly. The soldier, Moritz William Winn, enlisted in Company K, Nineteenth Texas Cavalry, in 1862, and was discharged after the Confederate surrender in 1865. He died in March 1895. A daughter, Mrs. Bell Cook, now lives at Farmers Branch.
Miss Mary Johnson, secretary-treasurer of the Keenan Cemetery Association, said that the organization was interested in obtaining information on Confederate veterans buried there whose graves are unmarked or poorly marked so that the association might mark them.
