OBITUARY

Mrs. Jennie Winn Passes To Reward at Ripe-Age

Mrs. M. W. Winn, after an illness of about one week, died at her home near Farmers Branch at 7:30 a.m., Friday Febr. 24, 1933. Funeral services were held at the famers Branch Baptist church Saturday afternoon at 3'oclock, Rev. Ramsey conducting the services, and interment made in the local cemetery there.
Her maiden name was Jennie Good and she was born near Farmers Branch Dec. 27, 1852, and had lived near that place all of her life. She was a Charter member of the Baptist church of that place and had lived a life which has left its impress upon those with whom she came in contact.  She was well known by all the older settlers and all counted her Friend.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Winn has three brothers, Rev. G. W. Good and Will Good of Farmers Branch; and F. M. Good of Carrollton; one sister Mrs. Warrinseatt of New Mexico; one daughter Mrs. Bell Cook; one son Noah Winn; three grandchildren; Roy C. Cook of San Antonio, Marion A. Cook and Loyd J. Cook of Farmers Branch all survive her.
We will regret the passing away of this good woman. But God called her for another purpose, she had lived a honorable and useful life.
