OBITUARY

Winningham Buried Wednesday Morning

G. W. Winningham of Farmers Branch was buried Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock; funeral services being held at the home and interment being in Framers Branch cemetery. Rev Joe Blankenship conducted the services. Pall bearers were Messers Leslie Harmon, Charlie Lewis, D. D. Moore, Caldwell, G. P. Sumners and W. Olam.
Mr. Winningham was born Sept 5, 1887, at Athens, Tenn., and died August 11, 1931, at 7 o'clock at Parkland hospital., Dallas, death coming as a result of injuries received in an autowreck Sunday afternoon. Mr. Winningham, his brother Sidney and a girl about 13 years of age were in the car coming north on Maple avenue. When a short distance north of Lovedale their car was struck by a car coming onto Maple from Mockingbird Lane. The other occupants of the car were not injured to any great extent but Mr. Winning ham was severely injured and was taken to Parkland hospital dying Tuesday as stated. He is survived by his wife and two children.
