| OBITUARY
William E. Winter Jr.
William E. Winter Jr., age 60 of Shady Shores died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at
Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1946 to William E. Winter Sr.
and Phyllis Rockwall in New York City. He married Linda Reddick on March 4, 1967
in Oklahoma. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served two terms in
Vietnam. He was a Carrollton Firefighter with the C shift for 30 years.
Visitation will be Friday April 20, 2007 from 6:30 – 8 p.m., at Denton Funeral
Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday April 21, 2007 at 2 p.m., at the
Denton Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Terry Bloss officiating. Burial will
follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Linda of Shady Shores; one daughter, Sarah Winter of
Austin; one son, John B. Winter of Lewisville; and two grandchildren, Niels E.
Winter and Jonathan A. Winter. He is predeceased by his mother, Phyllis Winter.
Services are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Terri Slay Funeral Director.
