OBITUARY

Lois Fay Housley Womack
Lois, a longtime resident of Farmers Branch, TX, passed away on March 29, 2009, in Carrollton, TX. She was 91. She was born November 01, 1917, in Housley, TX. She married Robert "Earl" Womack on April 09, 1932, in Durant, OK. They resided in Glad Acres, before Farmers Branch was incorporated. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch, where she served in the children's ministry for many years. She was active in many community and school organizations. She was a talented artist. Lois is survived by her son, Robert Lee Womack, and his wife, Kendra. Left to cherish her memory are her nephew, Raymond Earl Sill, and his wife, Polly; nieces, Ann Perdue, Lynda Mays, Peggy Womack, and Carolyn Emrick, and her husband, Greg; numerous great and greatgreat nephews and nieces; best friend, Faye Brooks Sturgis, and her husband, James; childhood friend and double cousin, Ruth Raglin; and many other friends and extended family members. Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Earl; her parents, Roy Lisbon Housley and Edna Nora Anderson; her brother, Clois Ray Housley, who died in infancy; and beloved sister, Lillie Lucille Sill. Pallbearers are Jordan Perdue, Brandon Perdue, Donn Sill, Brad Perdue, Andrew Garza, and Eric Burnett. Honorary Pallbearers are James Mays, Russ Burnett, and Robert Garza. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Michael's Hospice. The family will receive visitors at North Dallas Funeral Home in Farmers Branch on Tuesday, March 31, from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Celebration of Life service will be on Wednesday, April 01, at 11:00am in the North Dallas Funeral Home chapel. Following the service, Lois will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX, next to her husband, Earl.
