OBITUARY

G. P. Worthington Dies at His Home

George P. Worthington, 80, retired farmer and resident of Dallas twenty-four years, died at his home, 701 North Beacon, Monday.
Born in Ellis County, he retired from farming in 1924, the year he moved to Dallas.
Surviving are five sons, Edd Worthington, Terrell, Tom Worthington, Longview, and William Worthington, John Worthington and Schuyler Worthington, all of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Barry, Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. John Furneaux, and Mrs. L. E. Warner, Dallas, and Mrs. J. C. Olsen, Little Elm, Denton County, and a brother, Hugh Worthington, Little Elm.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the George A. Brewer Funeral Chapel, 3603 Ross. Burial will be in Pleasant Mound.
