Myers Opens Grocery
Ben Myers is opening a grocery store in the old post
office building and expects to be ready for business Saturday. The owner is
putting in a new front that will give good show space for goods, and placed
an awning in front. The cement walk is being filled where it was arranged
for car entrance and this will make the walk safer and better. Mr. Myers was
formerly in business in Coppell, and was for a time here in another line.
Happening to come here to locate at a time when a chain grocery was
contemplating locating, and had advertised for a manger, it was thot for
some time that Ben was the chain store man. He states that he knew nothing
of the contemplated new chain store when he rented the building and prepared
to move.
