On Monday evening, June 26, the James A. Smith Masonic Lodge AF&AM No. 395 located at 12823 Demetra in Farmers Branch held open installation of officers for the new year.
The installation was performed by two Past Masters of the lodge; Charlie A. Shelton, installing officer, and Claude A. Ritchie, installing marshal.
The officers who were installed are: John F. Buchanan, Worshipful Master; Aubrey R. Farris, Senior Warden; Junius A. Ritchie, Junior Warden; Marion L. Coker, Treasurer; E. Odell Noah, Secretary; Miburn R. Gravley, Chaplain; Glynn A. Smith, Senior Deacon; James A. Harris, Junior Deacon; Homer A. Aaron. Senior Steward: H. Ray McDowell, Junior Steward, and L. A. Nicholson, Jr. Tiler
