Our speaker this month is Daniel Derasaugh, Elementary Social Studies Instructional Specialist over all twenty-four elementary schools in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Daniel blogs about local historical sites, memorials, and museums across North Texas through North Texas Historical Sites on Instagram and Facebook. His topic is “Picturing Local History”. Exploring the history of North Texas from the small, little known stories and sites, to major events that shaped our local heritage.
