SHERON
RUTH ALDRIDGE
September 24, 1951 - March 9, 2022Sheron Ruth Aldridge, age
70, of Lewisville, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday,
March 9, 2022 due to complications from liver and kidney failure. Sheron
was born on September 24, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to her parents Roy &
Betty Ringo. She and her brother grew up surrounded with lots of love
and tons of family members. Sheron grew up in Carrollton, Texas. She
graduated from R.L. Turner High School in 1970. She was a proud member
of the R.L. Turner Lionettes Drill Team. When growing up, she attended
Northside Baptist Church in Carrollton with many of her family members.
On August 29, 1970, Sheron married Curtis Aldridge in Lewisville, Texas.
The two of them welcomed 3 children into the world; Stacy, Julie, and
Lance.
Sheron worked at Texas Instruments for the majority of her working
career. She was a QC inspector. Later in life, she worked part-time for
Comfort Suite in Lewisville. She was affectionally called “Granny” by
all the other employees. This job was a great fit for her because she
was a “people-person” and enjoyed making friends with people from all
walks of life. She had several regular customers that would bring her
gifts and treats. She never met a stranger and had some interesting
stories to tell. Sheron had unwavering determination and work ethic, a
love of people, and unconditional love for her family. Some of her best
times in life were spent with her family and friends laughing, cutting
up, telling stories, and having fun. She was genuinely committed to
those she loved and cherished. She always reached out to her family with
phone calls just to touch base and see what was happening in their
lives. She was a “connector”; she has friends from all stages of life.
She could make anyone smile.
Sheron was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Curtis B.
Aldridge, and her parents, Roy Ringo and Betty Goodale. Sheron leaves
behind children, Stacy Lovett and her husband Gary, Julie Burr, and
Lance Aldridge and his wife Millie. She had one grandchild, Dylan Burr,
whom she adored and loved more than anything in this world. Dylan was
the sunshine in her world. She is survived by her brother, Kenny Ringo
of New York. She has 2 nephews in Florida, and a huge lot of cousins
that she loved dearly. Sheron will be missed deeply, but her family
rejoices in knowing that she is in Heaven with a healed and restored
body, reuniting with her loved ones, meeting Jesus, and watching over
her beloved family still here today.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life service
on Sunday, March 20th at 2:00 pm at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will occur from 1-2 pm prior to the service. |
