OBITUARY
Betty Jean Allen
Mrs. Betty Jean Allen passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the
age of 77. She was born on November 16, 1931 to the late Glenn Franklin Brunson
and Alma Lou Garrison Brunson. Mrs. Allen served in the U.S. Navy and married
Mr. Drennon Lee Allen on May 16, 1952. She worked as an executive secretary for
Ideal Inc., was a member of St. Frances Episcopal Church and was a member of the
Order of the Eastern Star in Winnsboro. Survivors include her husband of 56
years., Mr. Drennon Lee Allen of Winnsboro; sons, Drennon Lee Allen, Jr. of
Clear Lake, Philip Eugene Allen of Grand Prairie and Marc Steven Allen of Center
Point; daughters, Janet Lea Peralez of Little Rock and Suzanne Rene Twitchell of
Round Rock; brothers, Joe Brunson of Winnsboro, Bob Brunson of Winnsboro and
Jerry Brunson of Baytown; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-two great
grandchildren.
