OBITUARY
Don Robert Allen was born May 24, 1933, in McAdoo, Floyd County.
Don retired after 28 years as an educator, mostly with the Mansfield school
district. Don had ties all across Texas. He grew up in Carrollton and graduated
from East Texas State University in Commerce. He served five years in the Army
and was a retired, disabled veteran. He was also a Mansfield volunteer fireman
for 10 years. He loved the land and people, especially his friends at the Bronco
Cafe.
Most of all, he was a family man who loved all of his family.
There are no words to describe his goodness. It is impossible to list all the
things he has done and all the people he has touched.
