OBITUARY

FORT WORTH - Colene Allen, 84, who had owned and operated the Clover Drive-In Restaurants from the early 1940s until the late 1960s, passed away Tuesday evening, March 3, 1998, at a North Richland Hills nursing home after a lengthy illness.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Thursday at Handley United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ann Stevens and Dr. Bruce McDonald will officiate. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Colene Allen was born Feb 19, 1914, in Carrollton.
She had been a resident of Fort Worth for the past 60 years.
She and her husband owned and operated the Clover Drive-In Restaurants in Fort Worth from the early 1940s until the late 1960s. She was a member of Handley United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Herman E. Allen, in 1984.
Survivors: Son, H. Wayne Allen of Fort Worth; daughter, Barbara Tinkle of Fort Worth, granddaughters, Wsleta Rial and Debbie Cardwell; great grandchildren, Whitney, Cameron and Madison Rial, Tyler West, Preston Cardwell and Spencer Cardwell; sister Juanita Whitlock of Carrollton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
