OBITUARY
 

Emogene Allred, 90, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Graveside service, Mrs. Allred will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Historic Grapevine Cemetery.
Emogene was born Feb. 28, 1925, to O.L. "Bud" and Macie Dickerson in Coppell. She and her husband, James Allred, were married for 72 wonderful years. When Emogene was not caring for her family, she also worked at Pangburn's for six years. She traveled extensively and saw many states as her husband, James, was a longtime pipeliner. Emogene was known to her grandchildren as Nanny. She was always concerned about everyone but herself and made sure that everyone had what they needed and more. She will be greatly missed.
Emogene was preceded in passing by her husband; parents; and brothers, Sleepy, Dub, Pete and Doyle.
Survivors: Daughter, Shirley Long and husband, Harriel; grandchildren, Keith Long and wife, Paula, and Kurt Long and wife, Michelle; and great-grandchildren, Delani Long, Chase Long, Lexi Long and Cody Long.
