OBITUARY

Michael Angerstein
Marine Pfc. Michael E. Angerstein, son of Mrs. Mary L. Angerstein, 1729 Cox St. in Carrollton was among 45 U.S. serviceman recently killed in action in Vietnam, the Department of Defense reported Tuesday.

OBITUARY

Funeral Today For War Victim
CARROLLTON- Funeral services for Marine Pfc. Michael E. Angerstein, 19, killed in action Oct. 27, near the Demilitarized zone in Vietnam, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Central Park Baptist Church in Farmers Branch. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, with military honors.
Angerstein, a native of San Antonio, had lived in the Dallas area about three years. He had been in the Marine Corps a year and in Vietnam since March.
He was a member of Central Park Baptist Church.
Survivors: Mother, Mrs. Mary Lee Angerstein of Carrollton'; father Henry B. Angerstein of Amarillo; two brothers, Lennie B. Angerstein of Eden, Ga., and Two sisters, Mrs. Betty Dean Miller of Amarillo and Miss Mary Ann Angerstein of Carrollton.

Two Area Men Killed in Vietnam
Two area men have been reported killed in Vietnam. They are S-Sgt. John Allen Roberts, 21, of 11807 Webb Forest, and Pfc. Michael E. Angerstein of 1729 Cox, Carrollton.
Roberts, a graduate of R. L. Turner High in 1965, died Friday as a result of gunshot wounds received while on a combat operation, the Defense Department announced.
He had been in Vietnam since march and was a member of the 101st Airborne Division.
He is survived by his wife, a son, Daniel D. Roberts of Dallas, mother, Mrs. Leroy D. Rick of Farmers Branch, and a brother, A. E. Roberts of Cherry Point, N. C.
Funeral arrangements were pending in Dallas.
Funeral arrangements for Pfc. Angerstein were pending in Carrollton Monday at Rhoton, Weiland-Merritt Funeral Home.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. mary Lee Angerstein, Carrollton; father, Henry B. Angerstein, Amarillo; brothers, Lenny Angerstein, Edden, Ga. Paul Angerstein, Dallas, sisters, Mrs. Betty Miller, Amarillo, Miss Mary Ann Angerstein, Carrollton.
