OBITUARY
 

ARCHIBALD,, RAY WILLARD Born June 20, 1930, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2007. Born to Harvey C. and Martha M. Archibald in Abilene, Texas. Ray graduated from Abilene High School, Class of 1948. He then served his country in Korea, coming back to further his education at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene where he graduated Magna Cume Laude in 1959 with a degree in Geology. He worked for Magnolia Oil, now Exxon Mobil, for thirty-three years. Ray is survived by his wife Martha Ann of 51 years, daughter Vicki Ward, and son-in-law Dan Ward of Carrollton and grandchildren Johnny Ray and Jamie Ward. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 Monday May 14, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton with Burial to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton.
