OBITUARY Cheri Denise
Armstrong
January 31, 1951 - September 4, 2025 Cheri Denise Armstrong, 74, of The
Colony, Texas passed away on September 4th, 2025.
Cheri was born in Dallas, Texas on January 31st, 1951to Charles and Nina Hill.
She graduated from R.L. Turner High School. Cheri married Nolen Armstrong on May
22, 1970, they were married for 36 years until Nolen’s passing in January of
2007.
Cheri worked for the City of Carrollton in the water department and retired in
2007. She enjoyed fishing and going to the deer lease with Nolen and her two
sons Jeff & Brad. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and was always up for a
game of cards or dice.
Cheri is preceded in death by her husband, Nolen. Parents Nina and Charles, and
brothers Ronnie, Keith and Charlie.
Cheri is survived by her two sons Jeff and Brad Armstrong, grandchildren Lauren,
Walker, Haley and Nolen. Her two sisters Beverly and Maribeth “Beth” and several
nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton,
TX on September 27th at 10:00 am.
