OBITUARY

Joe F. Bailey of 2549 Havenhurst, Farmers [Branch], died Friday. He had barbered in Carrollton for a number of years. Survived by wife, Mrs. Gertrude Bailey, Farmers Branch; son, James Harold Bailey of Lewisville; daughter, Mrs. Laura Jean Largent of Farmers Branch; brothers, Rev. Gola Bailey of Bonham; Roy Bailey of Plano, Ernest Bailey of Cumby; Walter Bailey, Ivy Cox Bailey, both of Dallas; W. E. Bailey, Artesia, N. Mex.; sisters, Mrs. Estha Wood of Carrollton; Mrs. Ardis Whitlock, Mrs. Maggie Campbell, both of Dallas; four grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church, Farmers Branch, with Rev. Gola Bailey officiating, assisted Rev Jim Angel and Rev. Glenn Hayden. Interment was in Perry Cemetery, Carrollton. Pallbearers were Leon Weatherly, Loren Peacock, Theodore Davis, John Smart, J. L. Kegley and J. H. Henslee with Snider-Young Funeral Home in charge.
