OBITUARY Dorothy Baker
FARMERS BRANCH
Services for Dorothy Lee Baker, 46, of Farmer's Branch and formerly of
Odessa, were held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Rhoton, Weiland-Merritt Funeral
Home in Carrollton, with burial in
Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton.
Mrs. Baker was the daughter of Mrs. Clara Adams, and sister of Jim Adams, Betty
Sanders and Ruthie Burchett, all of Midland.
She died Thursday in Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas after a long illness.
Mrs. Baker was born Oct. 17, 1931, in Clayton, N.M. She and her husband, Arnold
P. Baker, resided in Odessa for several years prior to moving to Farmers Branch
about 10 years ago. They owned the Western Body Shop while they lived in Odessa.
Other survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Carliss Marie
Baker of the home and Brenda Sue McBride of Carrollton; two sons, Eddie Lee
Baker of the home and Arnold Baker III of Dallas; and one grandchild.
