Tracy Lynn Barbay passed away December 18, 2009, in Houston, TX. She was born
July 27, 1964, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Tanner L. and Nancy Barbay. Tracy was
raised in the Dallas, TX, area and graduated from Newman Smith High School. She
worked for J. D. Edwards in Dallas until she transferred to their Houston, TX,
office. She later worked for Western Gas in Katy, TX. Tracy tired of the
corporate world and went into business for herself, operating a boutique in the
Houston area and living in Magnolia, TX, until her death.
Tracy is survived by her mother: Nancy Pruitt, step-father: Robert Pruitt, and
brother: Terry Baybay & wife Zelena, all of Rockwall, TX; niece: Kyndal Barbay
of Dallas, TX; and aunts: Jane Whittaker and Sally Barbay and cousins: Don and
Tanna, all of Houston, TX. She is also survived by her extended family of Nalers
and Pruitts and a host of friends that she loved so much. Tracy was preceded in
death by her father: Tanner L. Barbay; and grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. H. F.
Naler and Minnye Barbay.
Services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral
Home-Rockwall Chapel with Dr. Aubrey Patterson officiating.

She died Dec. 18, 2009, in Houston. Born July 27, 1964, in Oklahoma City, Okla.,
to Tanner L. and Nancy Barbay. She was raised in the Dallas area and graduated
from Newman Smith High School. She worked for J.D. Edwards in Dallas until she
transferred to the Houston office. She later worked for Western Gas in Katy. She
eventually went into business for herself, operating a boutique in the Houston
area and living in Magnolia until her death.
Survivors include her mother, Nancy Pruitt, her stepfather, Robert Pruitt, and
her brother, Terry Barbay and his wife, Zelena, all of Rockwall; her niece,
Kyndal Barbay of Dallas; and her aunts, Jane Whittaker and Sally Barbay and
cousins Don and Tanna, all of Houston. She also is survived by her extended
family of Nalers and Pruitts and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tanner L. Barbay, and her grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. H.F.
