BATES
Karol Norman (Kit). Age 53 of Seabrook Texas. Survived by sons, Charles Bates, College Station, Walter Bates, Jr. & wife Dawn, Houston. Two Grandchildren. Father Thomas Norman, Sr., Hillsboro. Brother, Thomas Norman, Jr., Richardson. Sisters, Shirley Becker, Richardson. Helen Shelter, Richardson, Bernice Friguesi, Lubbock, Tx. Kit the youngest of her family born 6-8-1931 in Waxahachie, Texas. Graduated in 1948 from Carrollton High School. Executive Secretary with Braniff & later with NASA. She enjoyed the friendship of the first astronuts in her neighborhood of Seabrook. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, later she served as a realtor in the Seabrook area until returning to Dallas to join Shirley Becker Realtors & later Ebby Halliday in Richardson. She had recently returned to Seabrook. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, Rhoton Weiland Funeral Chapel. Rev. Linda Smith, a close friend of the family, officiating. Camille Norman, her niece will be singing. Interment will be next to her mother, Susie Holcomb Norman at Keenan Cemetery on Valley View Ln in Farmers Branch.
