JERRY T. BATES
Born October 26, 1937 in Sherman, TX and died April 15, 2006 at his home in Carrollton. He was a longtime member of Key Memorial United Methodist Church in Sherman, until moving to Dallas where he worked many years in the Fastener Industry. Prior to his retirement he served as Vice President of a Dallas Fastener Company. Survived by wife: Barbara Bates, Daughter: Kelly Bates, Sister and Brother in-law: Jackie and Charles Meeks, numerous other family members and friends and by his beloved pets: Josie and Cinders. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the funeral home. Services will be at 1pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in the Chapel of Sparkman/Dickey Funeral Home.
