PAUL C. BEASLEY., JR. BEASLEY, JR., PAUL C., beloved
father, brother and friend passed away at St. Paul University Hospital,
Wednesday, November 24, 2004 after a long courageous battle with Non-Hodkins
Lymphoma. Born in Jacksonville, Texas on February 10, 1941. Grew up in
Citronlle, AL. Graduated from McGill Catholic High School in Mobile, AL
in 1959. Joined the U.S. Army, served 4 years as military police officer
at Sandia Base, Albuquerque, NM. Met and married the love of his life,
Carol in 1966. Moved to Dallas, Texas in 1968 when he joined the Farmers
Branch Police Department. Worked as an officer and Detective until 1978.
Employed at Dale Simpson and Associates to 1987, when he formed Paul C.
Beasley and Associates specializing in corporate investigations. After
several prosperous years, he sold the company and joined Playoff Corp as
security director. In 2000, he had the opportunity to work at Wizards of
the Coast/Hasbro, Inc as corporate director of security in Seattle,
Washington. He enjoyed 2 years in Seattle, with his wife Carol and
described that time as one of the greatest times of his life. They moved
back to Dallas in March of 2002 after his wife was diagnosed with lung
cancer which she succumbed to in May, 2002. He rejoined Donruss/Playoff
in June, 2003 where he was employed until his retirement in August,
2004. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul C. Beasley, Sr.;
mother, Nan O. Beasley; brother, Bill; his loving wife and soulmate of
36 years, Carol and infant son, Michael. He is survived by his daughter,
Chris Schrag and her husband, Phil; son, Paul, III; granddaughters,
Jennifer and Laura; sister, Carrellanne Cannon, her husband, Steve;
sister, Eva Schuler, her husband, Kenney; Aunt Rosemary Canterbury; many
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was especially thankful and
cherished his friendship with Cheryl Packwood; and his dedicated friend
and physician since his diagnosis in 1984, Dr. Amanullah Khan. Services
12:00 PM Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
