OBITUARY

Patricia Roache Bennett, 92, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away March 21, 2019 in Bedford, Texas of Natural Causes. She was born September 12, 1926 in Dallas, Texas to Jack and Naomi F. Roache.

Patricia married James G. Bennett, Jr. on September 16, 1950 in Dallas, Texas. She was a teacher for 23 years, 1962 – 1985. Pat graduated from TWU and started her Journalistic career with the Dallas Morning News as a film critic. She married, had six children and began teaching in 1962, Pat’s teaching career spanned 25 years. She was a dedicated educator who loved teaching and sharing her knowledge with young people. She loved history and had a great knowledge of ancient history, and particularly loved Latin American history and culture.

Pat loved her grandchildren very much and loved spending time with them. She was loved by her family and will be missed until we see her again in heaven.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Naomi F. Roache, and son James G. Bennett, III.

Pat is survived by her children; Veronica B. Rozanski of Fort Worth, Texas, Judith M. Bennett of San Antonio, Texas, Deirdre B. Coston of Katy, Texas, Charles M. Bennett of Raymondville, Texas and Mary E. Bennett of Saginaw, Texas, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Patricia Ruth Bennett is scheduled for Thursday March 28, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Restland’s Abbey Chapel
