OBITUARY
Amelia
Hinsdale Bintz Amelia Hinsdale Bintz ascended to glory Wednesday,
December 10, 2008 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 23 years
of age. Amelia was born in Dallas, TX to Andrew J. and Janice S.
Hinsdale on March 22, 1985. She graduated from Creekview High School in
Carrollton, TX where she excelled academically and artistically, earning
a National Merit Scholarship recognition as well as awards for debate
and her musical ability on the viola, French horn, and piano. Amelia
cultivated a passionate love of opera and classical music early in life.
She went on to earn Phi Beta Kappa honors at the University of Arizona,
where she graduated in 2007 with majors in both English and Political
Science. While at the U of A, Amelia discovered a passion for tutoring
students in writing. On September 1, 2007, she was wed to Jereme Robert
Bintz of Phoenix, whom she had met in the College Republicans. They
actively campaigned for local and national candidates and attended
multiple conservative conferences and seminars across the country. She
had planned to continue her education either in law school or a doctoral
program in English. She is survived by her husband Jereme, parents
Andrew and Janice Hinsdale, and brother James Hinsdale. A Memorial
Service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 915 E. 4th
Street, Tucson, AZ on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 starting with calling
at 12:30 and the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. A brief reception will
follow. Plans are being made for a private interment. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests donations to the Steele Children's Research
