Blankenship, 60, To Be Buried Sunday CARROLLTON, Texas, Sep 11.
- Funeral services for Joe E. Blankenship, 60, Dallas County Employee who died
Friday as he worked on a highway near Coppell, will be held at the Farmers
Branch Baptist Church at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Burial will be at the Farmers
Branch Cemetery. The Rev. T. J. Ramsey will officiate.
Blankenship is survived by his wife, three sons, three daughters, his mother, a
sister, brother, eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild The Dallas

OBITUARY HEART ATTACK KILLS WORKER
Joe Everett Blankenship, 61, Farmers Branch employee of the County Road
and Bridge District 1, died of a heart attack Friday afternoon while working on
a right-of-way fence on the Belt Line Road near Coppell.
Blankenship had just returned from getting a pail of water, Charley Miles road
foreman, said. He walked over to where he and others were digging post holes,
Miles said, and suddenly fell forward on his face, dead.
