OBITUARY
SAMUEL BLANKENSHIP
Services are pending at Rhoton-Weiland-Merritt Funeral Home in Carrollton for
Samuel Everett Blankenship, father of Mrs. Dorothy Mae Chreene of Irving.
Blankenship was dead on arrival at Parkland Hospital Tuesday. He was born Oct.
5, 1905.
Other survivors include the widow Mrs. Addie Blankenship; two sons, William
Afrrd Blankenship, Carrollton and Joel Owen Blankenship of Lewisville; two other
daughters, Mrs. Addie Louise McGregor of Lewisville and Mrs. Nannie Frances
Gentry of Farmers Branch; a brother, John Blankenship of Farmers Branch; three
sisters, Mrs. Vernice Diggs of Houston, Mrs. Lottie Mae Burden, Dallas and Mrs.
Mary Frances Wilson of Farmers Branch; 39 grandchildren and ten
