Blanton, Hilkka I. Pat Born July 27, 1911 in Chicago, IL. She departed this life after 97 years on January 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by husband, Jack E. Blanton. She is survived by sons, James Blanton and wife Karen of Allen, TX and John Blanton of Carrollton, TX. She is also survived by her grandson, Michael Morgan; granddaughters, Kimberly Blanton-Day and hus- band Dan of Dallas, TX and Brooke Bain and husband, Ryan of Plano; great granddaughter, Stephanie Morgan; her niece, Marie Theerman and husband Harold of St. Louis, MO. She was a long time member of Christ United Methodist Church in Farmers Branch. Family visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. If desired, donations may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
