OBITUARY
Mrs. John Bledsoe Dies in Hospital
Mrs. John R. Bledsoe, 41, of 3511 Boliver, a resident here since 1922,
died Friday in a Dallas hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Bledsoe, a veteran millinery trimmer, had worked for Bierner & Son, a
millinery concern, for the last five years.
She was born in Madill Okla., and moved to Dallas at the age of twelve. She was
married in Denton to John R. Bledsoe, an upholsterer.
Mrs. Bledsoe attended the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Dallas; a son, Donald Ray Bledsoe of Dallas; her
father, Charlie Calhoun of Ardmore, Okla.; a brother Barney Calhoun of Farmers
Branch and three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Pike of Linnell, Calif., Mrs. John Carson
of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Alie Walters of Claremore, Okla.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at George A. Brewer Chapel,
3603 Ross, with the Rev. C. P. Murphy officiating.
Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Edward Archer, W. G. McDaniel, Arvil B. Adams, Alie Walters,
Keisie Eddington and Frank Eddington.
