OBITUARY
 
LOUIS F. BOLTON
BOLTON, LOUIS F., Born June 21, 1922 in Anna, Texas left to be with the Lord on November 30, 2006. Louis proudly served in the Air Force and was stationed in England in the 8th Air Force, where he was a pilot in WWII, flying 26 missions. He graduated from UNT in 1946 with a Bachelors of Art and Science in Mathematics and earned his PhD in Psychology in 1976. Louis retired in 1986 from teaching 25 years in the Dallas, Carrollton and other school districts. He was a member of the VFW, Shriners, Lions Club and The Church of the Incarnation. Louis was a religious person who will be remembered for his love for fishing and hunting, as well as being a kind and loving family man who loved his children: Preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Bolton and his eldest son Eddie Bolton. Survived by his wife Charlane Bolton; son, Robert Bolton and wife Vicki; daughter, Carolyn Powell; daughter-in-law, Janet Bolton; grandchildren, Deborah, Cheryl, Julie, Shirley, John and Billy; great granddaughters, Katie and Courtney; sister, Beatrice Robinson; brother, Olen Bolton as well as many other relatives and friends. Visitation is Sunday, December 3, 2006 from 3-5 P.M. at Rhoton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, December 4, 2006, 1 P.M. at Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel. Louis F. Bolton ('48, ’74 M.Ed.), Carrollton. He served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, flying 26 missions during World War II. He taught for 25 years in the Dallas and Carrollton ISDs and other districts and retired in 1986.
