OBITUARY Terence
"Terry" Duane Bow MANSFIELD - Terence "Terry" Bow, a loving
husband, father and son, went peacefully to be with the Lord, his keeper, on
Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday at Cotten-Bratton Funeral Chapel.
Memorials: Consideration of contributions to a charity of one's choice or the
SCA is suggested, in Terry's memory.
Terry was born Sept. 19, 1962, in Dallas, and was raised in Carrollton. He
graduated from Newman Smith High School and attended Abilene Christian
University. His 20-year career was found in his passion for commercial
construction. In addition to running his own TBow Construction Company he worked
for Interiors for Retail, Integrated, Chase Randall Construction and Matrix.
Some of his most notable contributions were Texas Motor Speedway, Bass Hall, the
fort Worth Zoo, Amon Carter Museum and local hospitals. His personal favorite
was his construction of the clock tower on Trinity Valley School.
While building stores in Houston, he met and fell in love with his wife of 18
years, Christine D'Andrea. Married Feb. 15, 1992, the proudest day of his life
came with the birth of his twin daughters, Alexandria Denise "Ali" and Gabrielle
Nicole "Niki". His world revolved around the love for his daughters and was left
in treasured memories in the many volumes of freelancing writing and poetry
which came from his heart and love of the Lord. He also loved his numerous cats
and "Johnny," his beloved hamster. A flight around New York City with his
father-in-law, Victor, led him to obtain a lifelong dream in his student pilot
license.
His spirit touched all who knew him, as he was one of the kindest, most patient,
giving individuals to ever grace this planet. He will live on in us all forever.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Sydney Massey; and his grand-mother,
Doris Massey.
