OBITUARY

Robert King Boyd

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas - Funeral services for Robert King Boyd, 40, of Farmers Branch, assistant comptroller at Sanger's Department Store in Downtown Dallas, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch with the Rev. Glenn Hayden officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
Mr. Boyd, a native of Roseland, Neb., formerly lived in McKinney, where he was employed for 11 years with the Texas Textile Mills. he was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Robert King Boyd, Jr. and William Boyd of Farmers Branch; two daughters, Miss Martha Jean Boyd and Miss Helen Boyd of Farmers Branch, and his parents, Sergeant and Mrs. Warren E. Boyd of San Francisco. Calif.
Pallbearers will be Carl Buchanan, Dr. Tom McSwain, Jack V. Sears, Lloyd E. Halbrook, Randolph J. Svoboda and Fred Zimmerman.

Robert Boyd Of Farmers Branch Passes Away There

Robert K. Boyd, former resident of McKinney, died Sunday afternoon at his home, 2652 Danny Lane, Farmers Branch. Funeral services are 4 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church at Farmers Branch with Rhoten Funeral Home of Carrollton in charge of arrangements.
The Boyd family resided here from 1950 to 1956 where he was employed in the office of the Texas Textile Mills. The family was active in the First Baptist Church here.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Robert Jr., and William W. Boyd and two daughters, Jean and Helen Boyd, all of Farmers Branch; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Boyd of San Francisco, Calif.
