OBITUARY
Marie R. Braker
Marie Ren Braker, age 38, of Austin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Jan.
3, 2007, at her residence after a short illness.
Ren was born Jan. 16, 1968, in Biloxi, Miss. She graduated from
Newman-Smith High School in Carrolton, Texas, and went on to earn a
bachelors degree at the University of North Texas, graduating Summa Cum
Laude. She also attended the University of Surrey Advanced Technology
Institute at Guildford, England. She worked as a counselor for troubled
children and for ADM as a product marketing manager.
Ren married Terry Braker Nov. 25, 1994, in Midlothian, Texas.
Mrs. Braker is survived by her husband, Terry Braker; her mother, Cheryl
Crisler and grandmother, Pearle Crisler, of Texas; a son, Ryan Braker,
of Iantha and daughter, Chariti Farmer and husband, Jason, of Kansas
City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Emily, Keili and Riley Farmer and Adler
Braker; two brothers, Scott and Tod Schritchfield, of Texas; mother and
father-in-law, Bonnie and Leonard Braker, of Lamar; and a number of
extended family members. Ren was preceded in death by her grandfather,
William Crisler; and daughter, Terah Keith.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the Konantz-Warden
Funeral Home in Lamar, Mo. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at
the funeral home. |
