OBITUARY
J.
W. Brim
September 21, 1926 - February 02, 2006
Mr. J.W. Brim, 79, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at the Ennis Regional
Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 21, 1926 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the son of Henry
D. and Lottie Lucille Yarbrough Brim. He was reared on the John
Carpenter Ranch in Dallas. He was a 1944 graduate of Carrollton High
School. On May 14, 1955 he was married to Billie Ruth Matthews of
Bonham. After their marriage they lived in Ennis. During World War II he
served four years in the U.S. Navy on the USS Presido. He was employed
by Ennis Business Forms as a pressman, foreman and supervisor for 47
years. He was the general manager with Ennis Business Forms in Dewitt,
Iowa for six years. He was a member of the American Legion. For the past
several years he was known as the “Wavy Man”, taking his daily walks
near James Bowie Elementary School on the corner of Jeter Dr. and
Country Club Rd.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Ruth, of Ennis; a son and his wife,
Stephen Roy and Debbie Hunsucker of Ennis; a daughter, Patsy Ann Brewer
of Ennis; 3 brothers, Tommy and his wife, Barbara Brim of Monroe, LA,
Johnny and his wife, Vivian Brim of Forestburg, TX and Larry Brim of
Montague, TX; 4 sisters, Belva Brim of Ft Worth, Joyce and her husband,
Barney Tucker of Carrollton, Beverly and her husband, Mike Ferguson of
Carrollton, Janis and her husband, Peter Nelson of Dallas; 4
grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by
his parents, brothers, Richard Brim, Henry Brim, Jr and Red Bud
Brim,sister, Mary Skeen and a granddaughter, Sandi Pruitt Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Keever Chapel with
Rev. Richard Moody officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Cemetery
under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
