Barbara Bryant
November 25, 1936 - November 6, 2022

Barbara Bryant passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2022, in Corsicana, Texas with her family by her side.
Barbara was born November 25th, 1936, in Dallas, Texas to parents George Lowry and Marjorie Ledbetter Lowry Yelton.

Barbara loved being outdoors and loved being with her family and friends. She genuinely loved watching the sun rises and sun sets. She also loved watching the fireflies at night. Barbara loved her animals: dogs, cats, horses, and even the occasional opossum and racoon that would show up for her to feed.

Barbara was a long-time board member of the Perry Cemetery in Carrollton, Texas as was her mother, Marjorie Ledbetter Yelton. Barbara retired from the Dallas County marriage license department.

Barbara is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Hand Liedtke; son, Mark Edward Hand; great-grandson, Oliver Crail Bunting; her mother, Marjorie Ledbetter Yelton; and step-father, Harold Monroe Yelton.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Celia Elaine Roman and her husband, Robert; and daughter, Teri Chidester; her grandchildren, Joshua Mims, Justin Berry, Cody Berry, Bradley Chidester, Evan Chidester, Tanner Chidester, and Emily Carroll; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Mims, Ryder Mims, Winston Berry, Lyric Chidester, Zoey Chidester, Haylie Chidester, Sawyer Chidester, Lucy Chidester, and Dustin Chidester.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Bristol Hospice for all the care they provided for their sweet mother. They would also like to thank their dear friend, Joy Pannell for all of her help.
