OBITUARY
Stephen Bryant, age
43, died on April 19, 2008. He was born on November 4, 1964, in Dallas, TX.
He lived most of his life in the Dallas area attending Newman Smith High School
in Carrollton where he was an active member of the band. Steve graduated from
Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1987 and later
attained a MBA from the University of Dallas.
Steve was an incredibly intelligent, gifted engineer and manager who worked as
Director of Engineering for NEC Electronics in Dallas until his death. He had
the unique ability to design electronics and perform all manners of technical
work, but was still able to relate to customers and give presentations to
audiences of all kinds in a clear, understandable manner.
Steve was an extraordinary person that everyone liked as soon as they met him.
He had many interests including flying with his private pilot's license, world
travel with his family, scuba diving, and spending countless days watching his
son, Chris, play baseball and his daughter, Berkeley, swimming in competitions
and performing in choir.
Steve had many accomplishments to be proud of in his too-short life, but none
more so than his children, Chris and Berkeley. They were the absolute light of
his life and always exceeded his high hopes and expectations for them.
Steve is survived by his wife, Rondi; son, Chris; and daughter, Berkeley of
Highland Village; his younger brother, who idolized him, Mike, and his wife,
Amy; nephews, Alex and Jacob; and nieces, Abby and Keira, of Lewisville; father,
Richard Bryant of Highland Village; mother, Nancy Bryant of Carrollton; and
numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from across the country.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the
Flower Mound Family Funeral Home in Flower Mound, TX.
In lieu of flowers, Steve's family has requested donations be made to the March
of Dimes in Steve's name.
Please keep Steve's family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult
time.
