WELL-KNOWN PAIR SAYS VOWS DURING BURKBURNETT RITES
BURKBURNETT, Texas, April 5 (Special) - Residence has been established in
Carrollton by Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Buell whose marriage was a recent event at
the First Baptist Church in this city.
The bride is the former Miss Gloria Minick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A.
Minick of Burkburnett and her groom is a son of Mrs. Annabelle Buell of Boerne.
When given in marriage by her father, the bride was wearing a smart white faille
suit with accessories of navy blue and white. She carried a white Bible topped
with an orchid.
Miss Donna Browning was the bride's only attendant. She wore a yellow Linen suit
with brown accessories and a corsage of white flowers.
James Starrett of Dallas was best man. Ushers were Bob Littlefield and
Ansel Isbell of Carrollton.
The officiant was Rev. T. Lynn Stewart, pastor and musicians were Mrs. Vernon
Duke, organist, and John Williams, vocalist.
A reception was held in the church parlors immediately after the wedding.
Assisting the bride's parents with duties of entertaining were Miss Evelyn
Williams, Mrs. James Starrett and Miss Leigh Heflin.
The bride, who is a graduate of Burkburnett High School, received a degree from
North Texas State College in Denton and has been medial librarian at
Southwestern Medical College in Dallas. Also a graduate of North Texas State
College. The groom now is a teacher in the Carrollton High School.

OBITUARY
Frank Buell, 91 of Bryan,
Texas, went to be with his Lord on June 23, 2017. A Memorial Service will be
held on Sunday, June 25 at 3:00 pm at Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan.
Frank was born on May 16, 1926 to Annabel Garvin and Erwin Clyde Buell in
Roanoke, Texas. He graduated from High School in Pilot Point, Texas in 1943 and
graduated from North Texas State College with three degrees in Education,
Bachelor of Education, Master of Education and Doctor of Education.
Frank was an active member of several Baptist churches over the years and served
as a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton, Texas when he lived
there. He was also involved with The Rotary Club in Hurst, Texas organizing
their volunteering in schools program and serving as president. He loved
gardening and reading.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 60 years Gloria.
Frank leaves behind his daughter Becky and her husband Steve Carr, grandchildren
Elizabeth Carr and husband Dale Smith, Jr. of Alexandria, LA; Jessica Carr of
Lewisville, Texas; and Wendy Carr of Bryan, and one great-grandson Joseph.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Rotary
