OBITUARY

BUELL
RICHARD HOWARD. Born in Roanoke, Teas July 23, 1931, died in Dallas August 26, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rose Ann Allison Buell, daughter Debra Buell Rucker and husband Thomas Monroe, son, Brian Kelly Buell and wife Celinda, sisters, Ada Starrett and Irene Kelly, brothers, Frank Buell and Paul Buell and their spouses. He is also survived by grandchildren, Thomas Matthew Rucker, Christopher Alex Rucker, and Hannah Elizabeth Buell. Richard graduated from Pilot Point High School in 1948, and was a Navy Seal in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He later graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Arts, from University of North Texas in May of 1958, an M. S. in Vocational Education in August 1975, and he worked toward his doctorate at Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas. He worked at Texas Instruments in Richardson, Texas until 1971. A career change led him to the educational field, and he worked at Lake Highlands High School for a year as Vocational counselor then taught in D.I.S.D. at Lincoln High School until he retied in 1992. He was employed by Home Depot in Carrollton, Texas since 1989 until the time of his death. He was a member of Rosemeade Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rosemeade Baptist Church Building Fund, 1225 E Rosemeade Parkway, Carrollton, Texas 75007 or to a charity of your choice. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, August 29, 1999, Funeral services will be held Monday, August 30, 1999 at 1:00 P.M. at Rosemeade Baptist Church in Carrollton. Interment will follow at Hilltop Memorial Park. Dr. Randy Marsh will officiate.
