OBITUARY
 Charles Burgess
Charles Burgess, of Denton, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009. He was born
August 1, 1915 in Abilene. He retired after 26 years with Phillips Petroleum,
the last 12 years being spent in Kenai, Alaska. He was a 50 year member of the
Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his son Max Burgess of Hurst; daughters Beverly
Fletcher of Oak Point and Sandra Finney of Atlanta, Georgia; sister Juanita
Arnold of Wiley; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great
grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, March 21, 2009
at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810
N. Perry Rd. in Carrollton. Visitation: 6-8 PM Friday and also 9 AM-12:30 PM
Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Scottish Rite
Hospital for Children |
