BURGESS
DOROTHY JANE age 79, of Carrollton, TX. went to be with her Mother on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004.  She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church for numerous years.  She was an avid sports fanatic and loved the "Blue Devils".  She loved life, and was a devoted mother to her family.  Mrs. Burgess will be missed by all who knew her.  She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Mr. Ralph B. Burgess, Daughters; Jerri Anne Hammonds and husband Glen from Alvarado, Texas, Sue Clayton and husband Jim from Newport News Virginia, Clarlee Lawry and husband Kenny from Grapevine, Texas, Son Bo Burgess of Salado, Texas.  Grandchildren: Eric, Sharon, Terri, Dale, Jamie, Rene, Erica, Blake, Shauna, Alan, and Brooke.  22 Great-Grandchildren, Baby Sister "Precious", numerous family members and friends. Visitation will be held on February 6, 2004 at Rhoton Funeral Home from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Services for Mrs. Burgess will be held on Saturday, February 07, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Rhoton Funeral Home.
