OBITUARY George Nathan Butler Died
Funeral services were held in the Union Baptist church here
Wednesday afternoon conducted by J. Frank Norris, of Ft. Worth, for George
Nathan Butler. Mr. Butler had at one time resided in this community having moved
away about twenty years ago.
Mr. Butler was 76 years of age and his home was in Abilene. He had
been in failing health for some time and just recently was brought to a
sanitarium in Ft. Worth, at which place he died Monday night.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Thomas, of
Ft. Worth, three sons, Alex, of White Deer, King, of Decatur, Gordon, who
resides in Georgia, one brother, Carrol Butler, who lives near Grapevine, one
sister, Mrs. Williams of Carrollton.
Mr. Butler had been an employee of the Southern Plow Co. of Dallas
for more than twenty-five years.
Interment was made in the
Union (Perry) Cemetery by the
side of a wife, two sons and a daughter who have preceded him.
