OBITUARY Abilene
Ray Cannefax
Ray S. Cannefax Sr., 84 of Austin and formerly of Abilene, died at 4:15 p.m.
Saturday in Austin after a lengthy illness. Services will be Monday at
Weed-Corley Funeral Home in Austin.
Born in 1894 at Hico, he graduated from Carrollton High School and was an Army
veteran of World War I. He moved to Austin from Abilene in 1936.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ray Jr. of Abilene; a grandson; a
granddaughter; and a great0granddaughter.
