OBITUARY
Rachel Rose Carpenter
Rachel Rose Carpenter, age 16 of Dallas, Texas, and formerly of Winsted,
died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at the St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas,
Texas.
She was born Aug. 26, 1983, in Buffalo, Minnesota.
Rachel formerly attended Holy Trinity Catholic School, Winsted, and
received her first communion at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She was currently an active student at the Creekview High School in
Carrollton, Texas, and was also a volunteer with the Sheltie Rescue.
Rachel is survived by her parents, Shirley and Brad Menke; a twin
sister, Stephanie Carpenter; and sister, Taylor Menke, all of
Carrollton, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Rachel Carpenter were Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Dallas,
Texas.
Friends called at the Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, on Thursday, Aug.
10.
Interment took place Friday, Aug. 11, 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Cemetery,
Waverly, with the Rev. Paul L. Wolf officiating.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
