OBITUARY Gordon Dean Chambers
DENISON - Memorial services for Gordon Dean Chambers, 75-year-old Denison
resident, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hagerman Baptist Church in Sherman
with Rev. Joe Chambers officiating. Mr. Chambers died Sept. 1, 2010 in Denison.
He is survived by his son, Dave Chambers of Wexford, Pa.; daughter, Bonnie Green
of Hamilton, N.J.; brothers, Joe Chambers of Taylor,
Reubin Chambers of Sherman,
Kenneth Chambers of Thackerville, Okla. and Paul Chambers of Farmers Branch;
sisters, Fran Walker of Sherman and Janetta Chambers of Carrollton; and two
grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hagerman Baptist Church.
Family visitation will be held after the service.

Gordon Dean "Gordie" Chambers, 75
Gordon Dean "Gordie" Chambers, 75, of Denison, TX, passed away on
Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from respiratory failure at Texoma Medical Center,
Denison, TX.
He was born in Lindrith, NM. Upon graduation from high school, he enlisted in
the US Army and served almost 7 years before being honorably discharged and
moving to Northern NJ.
He began working as a car hauler in 1964 for Ford Motor Company and then moved
his family to East Windsor , NJ that same year. He retired from car hauling
after 34 years and then worked as a limo driver for a few years, which he
thoroughly enjoyed.
He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Alma; and is survived by his
daughter Bonnie (Robert) Green of Hamilton NJ; son David (Martha) Chambers of
Wexford, PA; brothers, Joe (Georgetta) Chambers of Taylor, TX; Reubin (Kathie)
Chambers of Sherman, TX; Kenneth (Ann) Chambers of Thackerville, OK and Paul
(BJ) Chambers of Farmers Branch, TX; sisters, Francis Walker of Sherman, TX and
Janetta Chambers of Carrollton, TX; grandchildren Caitlin (David) Booman of
Charleston, SC and Keven Chambers of Canton, OH, as well as many nieces and
nephews.
Gordon was an active member of Windsor Chapel for nearly 22 years. The family
will have a Celebration of Life service for anyone wishing to attend on
Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10:00 am at Windsor Chapel, 401 Village Rd East,
Princeton Junction NJ 08550. A private burial for family will follow at
Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ.
