OBITUARY

CHANEY
WYLIE RAY, age 55, a resident of Lake Dallas, TX. A loving son, husband and father who devoted his life to fighting for the rights of American men and women. Ray served as a Union Steward for his Teamster brothers and became a Business Representative for Local 19, Airline Division in Grapevine, TX. Ray became an International organizer where he worked fighting for his beliefs, equal rights and fair labor practices for all workers. Born on Aug. 27, 1940 in Dallas, TX. Passed away on June 21, 1996 in Memphis, Tenn. Ray was a member of The Church of Christ and preceded in death by one son; Ronald Kroening. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Chaney; two daughters; Robyn Chaney and Barrie Parker; three sons, Scott Chaney and Bill Chaney and James Kroening; Parents; Clarence and Sybol Chaney; and sister, Joyce Davis and nine grandchildren a nd a host  of Aunts, Uncles and Friends and high loved by his co-workers. family Visitation will be Monday night from 7:00 till 9:00 P.M. at Dalton & Son Funeral Home in Lewisville. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. at FARMERS BRANCH CHURCH OF CHRIST with Pastor Bob Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Keenan Cemetery in Farmers Branch. Dalton & Son funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.

Wylie Ray Chaney
Lake Dallas - Wylie Ray Chaney, 55, of Lake Dallas, died Friday, June 21, 1996, in Memphis, Tenn.
He was born Aug. 27, 1940, in Dallas.
Mr. Chaney served as a union steward for the Teamster's Union and a business representative for Local 19, Airline Division, in Grapevine. He became an internal organizer.
He was a member of the Church of Christ. One son is deceased.
Survivors include  his wife, Sandra; daughters, Robyn Chaney and Veronica Berrie Chaney; sons, Scott and Bill Chaney and James Kroening; parents, Clarence and Sybol Chaney; sister Joyce Davis; nine grandchildren; and several aunts and uncles.
Services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 1996, in Farmers Branch Church of Christ with Bob Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Keenan Cemetery, Farmers Branch.
The family will be at Dalton & Son Funeral Home in Lewisville from 7 to 9 tonight for visitation.
